How to Request a SmartExam Account

You’ll need a MyChart account to request a SmartExam account. This helps us verify your information. You can sign up for MyChart here.

Once you have a MyChart account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to MyChart
  2. Click Messaging at the top of the screen
  3. Click Request SmartExam Account

Make sure you’re using a web browser and not the MyChart app.

If you’re using a browser and don’t see Request SmartExam Account, that means SmartExam isn’t available to you. For now, it’s available to people 18 and older who have visited a Rush primary care physician in the past 12 months.

If you already have a SmartExam account, log in to SmartExam.
